Within a changing educational environment, administrators and educators have the opportunity to think about how they can provide better programs that make a positive and lasting impact in their students’ lives. The St. Johns County School District has done just that. The district uses digital curriculum for a variety of programs including their virtual school, credit recovery program, math acceleration summer program, and ACT/SAT prep. They also relied on digital curriculum to cover distance learning when the pandemic began, and they continue to see the benefits it offers in seamlessly remediating students’ learning. Furthermore, students are able to accelerate when they need to, do extra prep before big tests, or recover course credit—all through online learning.
In this webinar, Ryan Erskine of St. Johns Virtual School will join us to share about these programs and offer strategies for implementing online learning while maintain the foundations of effective teaching and learning.
