My name is Dan LaFountain. I'm a father of five. Two of my sons have an autoimmune disease, which has given us a lot of struggles in terms of their academic careers and just getting them through high school.
My oldest one that's just graduated high school recently, we were able to find a school district that did online school and used Apex Learning as the platform for his coursework. Through the four years that he was in the program, he was able to pretty much get straight A's and learn all of the content he needed to learn. And just this past spring, he actually graduated from high school, which we are absolutely thrilled about. We didn't know how we were going to possibly get our son through this program. But Apex and having the online courses allowed him to be successful at his level, at his pace, in a way, physically, he was able to do it. He wasn't physically able to go to school on a regular basis for a variety of reasons. This allowed him to be able to graduate high school. Without it, I'm not sure how we would have done it.
